Founder and Director
A former Marketing and Communications Manager for the Independent Schools Association (ISA), Angie has helped some of the UK’s leading independent schools to raise their profile, strengthen their reputation and increase admissions.
Angie has nearly 20 years’ experience in marketing and public relations. As a Senior Press Officer with the Metropolitan Police Service, Angie worked on some of the biggest news stories of the last two decades including the inquest into the death of Princess Diana, the Millennium Dome Diamond Robbery and numerous Anti-Terrorist inquiries.
As Head of the Specialist Crime Press Desk, Angie managed media relations for Scotland Yard’s Paedophilia Unit and facilitated the groundbreaking 2002 BBC documentary The Hunt for Britain’s Paedophiles.
Angie is a press officer, communications consultant and writer and also manages PR for Discovery Education UK.
Miriam is a highly experienced public relations consultant who applies media relations and other communications skills across a range of sectors.
Miriam managed PR and media relations at the UK Government’s Child Exploitation and Online Protection (CEOP) Centre, working alongside the Chief Executive to secure extensive positive coverage and manage reputational risk. She was responsible for marketing CEOP’s national ‘ThinkuKnow’ online safety programme to schools.
Her career began at New Scotland Yard as a press officer for London’s Metropolitan Police. Initially responsible for communications for counter-terrorist investigations, Miriam has since has handled media relations for investigations and incidents including the murder of the Soham schoolgirls Holly Wells and Jessica Chapman, the disappearance of Madeleine McCann, the murder of Stephen Lawrence and the Paddington Rail Crash.
Miriam established Rich Communications in 2011 and now delivers PR for a wide range of organisations and individuals.
